A NOTE about the Walk Cycles posted here ...
NOTE:
This blog used to have many of the walks posted as Quicktime .mov files which could be downloaded or used to step through the animation frame by frame . Sadly , Quicktime is now pretty much obsolete in terms of the Quicktime web browser plug-in. The Quicktime .mov files I had on the blog won't even play in most browsers anymore.
So to keep it functional I have had to convert all the files to YouTube videos or gifs.
However, if you use the , (comma) and . (period) keys you can step through a YouTube video frame by frame . Use the , (comma) to step backward one frame
Use the . (period) is to step forward one frame.
With videos posted from Vimeo, if you pause the video and hold down the Shift key you can use the forward arrow key and back arrow key to step through the video frame by frame
ALSO, if you pause the YouTube video and right-click on it , you'll get an option to set it to LOOP mode , which will play the walk cycle animation in a perpetual loop until you stop it.
