A walk cycle from the beginning of John and Faith Hubley’s Oscar-winning short film 'Moonbird' , animated by Bobe Cannon.
The odd numbers are extremes and breakdowns by Cannon, and the inbetweens (even numbers, mostly in red pencil) were done by Ed Smith. Original scans came from Michael Sporn. (I cleaned up some of the extraneous dirt on the original scans of Cannon's animation drawings when I registered the peg holes in TVPaint to compile this pencil test).
'Moonbird' was awarded Best Short Subject (Cartoon)at the 32nd Academy Awards, in 1960.
